Italian burl walnut art deco console table, 1930s. The spectacular pattern of the walnut veneer used to sheathe every surface of this console is breathtaking and showcases the exceptional skill of early twentieth century Italian handcrafted wood makers in Italy. The unique character of this piece is accentuated by the square angle corners and front with square top shape and the art deco shape of the supporting plinth base beneath. There are three drawers with brass and Bakelite handles. There is defects on the veneer of the base (seen on the photos).   The condition is good for its age, despite of some scratches/defects of age and use. The patina is super splendid. Presented of some moth holes. Measurement: Width 100 cm x Height 62 cm x Depth 37 cm Made in Italy. Period: 1930s/1940s
