Römische Aquila-Adler-Tiefgravur im Goldrelief – Siegel aus natürlichem Hartstein Camée - Grand Tour (Ohne mindestpreis)

A finely carved loose hardstone intaglio depicting the Roman Aquila eagle, one of the most powerful and recognisable symbols of the Roman Empire. The eagle is presented beside a classical laurel branch and executed in striking gold relief against a polished black hardstone ground. Inspired by the celebrated Grand Tour revival pieces collected throughout Italy during the 18th and 19th centuries, this intaglio captures the classical Roman aesthetic associated with ancient seal stones and antiquarian collecting. The elongated oval form and crisp engraving make this an attractive standalone collector’s piece, suitable for mounting into jewellery, a signet ring, pendant or display within a cabinet of curiosities or classical antiquities collection.
