Seiko - 5 DX Automatic Day-Date - Ohne mindestpreis - 6106-8070 - Herren - 1968

Seiko 5 DX automatic wristwatch, reference 6106-8070, produced in June 1968 for the Japan domestic market. Powered by the calibre 6106, a 25-jewel automatic movement with quickset day-date. Case and original bracelet in stainless steel. The dial is silver with a bright sunburst finish, applied baton hour markers, and a dual day-date window at 3 o'clock with red Sunday indication. Case shape follows the distinctive disco volante (flying saucer) form characteristic of Seiko's 6106 series from this period — a rounded, convex shape that remains one of the most appealing designs from the era. The bracelet is the original Seiko-signed ladder-style design, an unusual and uncommon configuration that is rarely found intact on surviving examples. It falls flexibly and comfortably on the wrist and adds considerably to the overall presentation. Movement is running and keeps good time. Overalll in honest but beautiful vintage condition throughout, with age-wear on case and crystal consistent with a 57-year-old watch. A perfect starter watch for those starting to dabble in vintage timepieces. *** Cyan Collectibles is collector-run and based in Singapore.
All watches are carefully and securely packed before being shipped, insured and tracked by global courier FedEx or its equivalent. If not possible, then by international registered parcel post with limited tracking.

The buyer is responsible for customs and import duties, as well as associated handling charges to process these. Please examine the photos before bidding, as they form an integral part of the description. Any defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as described.
