Steuler Keramik - Cari Zalloni - Vase (3) - Zyklon - Keramik

Dear Bidders, Thank you for your interest in my offer. You are bidding here on a set three ceramic vases designed by Cari Zalloni for Steuler Keramik, produced in West Germany in the 1970s. These sculptural pieces from the iconic “Zyklon” series feature striking concentric Op Art patterns and vibrant glossy glazes in red, blue and orange tones. A perfect example of German Mid-Century Modern and Pop Art ceramic design, combining geometric minimalism with the expressive aesthetics of the Fat Lava era. Rare collector’s objects with strong decorative presence. SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS: Steuler Keramik was one of the most important West German ceramic manufacturers of the Mid-Century Modern era. Founded in 1917, the company became internationally known during the 1950s–1970s for its innovative art pottery, bold glazes and expressive “Fat Lava” designs. Steuler collaborated with renowned designers such as Cari Zalloni, creating highly collectible ceramic objects that combined modernist forms with Op Art and Space Age influences. Today, Steuler pieces are considered iconic examples of vintage West German pottery.
