Nariño/Cupulí 6. bis 9. Jahrhundert n. Chr. Terracotta Lampe - 10 cm

A Nariño-Capulí Anthropomorphic Terracotta Vessel, Nariño-Capulí Culture, 6th to 9th Century AD Rare anthropomorphic terracotta vessel masterfully modeled in the form of a human face, featuring almond-shaped eyes, a prominent nose, open mouth, and a carefully rendered headdress decorated with incised geometric motifs. The elongated oval body is enriched with finely engraved linear patterns characteristic of the artistic traditions of the Nariño-Capulí culture of ancient Colombia. The vessel displays an attractive dark brown surface with age-related wear, burial patina, and minor encrustations that emphasize its archaeological authenticity.
