Six beautiful 18th-19th century snuff boxes in good condition. Most likely from the Netherlands or surrounding areas. The art work is very delicate and the colors are still quite clear. They are complete and sturdy, but there is some damage from use and age. Please see pictures for full details. The round boxes and smallest one are made from paper-mache, while the two rectangluar ones are made with a fine wood. The larger box is made from tin and has been engraved with city and water scenes. Please note the white (chalck?) patches on the back of the tin box. See pictures for details. These items formed part of a large private collection of art and books from the 18th and 17th century. The items will be packed with care and shipped with insurance.
