A Collectible Copy of Leaves of Grass by the American Poet Walt Whitman. Illustrated with tissue-guarded portrait frontispiece of Whitman, two more portraits, and fold-out fac-simile leaves. Published by David McKay, Philadelphia, 1900. Publishers’ original Green cloth boards with gilt lettering and decorative Art Nouveau-style design to spine and front board.
Book Dimensions: 21 x 14 cm and Number of Pages: 496
Condition:
External covers with few faded marks, and light wear to corners, edges, and spine ends. Internally; the book is in good condition. No names or inscriptions. Pages are clean. Rough cut page edges since the book was published. All pages are tightly held at the gutter. Inner hinges are very good (Please see pictures).
