A beautifully crafted Japanese small-sized Chinese cleaver (“Chuka Bocho”) made in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture — internationally renowned as the historic “City of Blades” in Japan.

This versatile kitchen knife combines the practicality of a Chinese cleaver with the refined craftsmanship of Japanese knife making. Compact and easy to handle, it is ideal not only for meat and fish, but also for vegetables such as daikon radish, pumpkin, cabbage, and herbs. A true all-purpose kitchen companion suitable for both professional chefs and home cooking enthusiasts.

The blade is made from stainless molybdenum steel / 420J2 stainless steel, offering excellent rust resistance, durability, and easy maintenance. After use, simply rinse with water and wipe dry. The blade has been carefully sharpened in Seki by skilled craftsmen for smooth and reliable cutting performance.

The handle is crafted from natural rosewood, polished to a smooth finish with an elegant wood grain. The traditional triple-rivet construction ensures strength and long-term durability, while the ergonomic shape fits comfortably in the hand. Rosewood also provides excellent grip stability during use.
