Longines - Admiral - Ohne mindestpreis - HF - 2303-2 - Herren - 1970-1979

EU-based professional seller — no import taxes for EU buyers. Get your hands on this serviced vintage Longines Admiral HF 2303-2 with high-frequency calibre 6942, original Longines steel mesh bracelet and 3-month functionality guarantee. Model History: The Admiral collection became one of Longines’ most recognisable post-war lines, encompassing both traditional dress watches and more progressive sporting designs. During the 1970s, selected models received the HF – High Frequency designation, identifying movements designed to operate at a faster rate than conventional mechanical calibres. Reference 2303-2 belongs to this more technically focused branch of the Admiral family. Its angular tonneau-style case, integrated bracelet appearance and minimalist dial reflect the evolving design language of the early 1970s. Inside is the Longines calibre 6942, a slim, manually wound manufacture movement with 17 jewels and a high-frequency rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The faster oscillation was intended to improve rate stability while producing a particularly smooth central seconds-hand motion. Specifications: Brand: Longines Model: Admiral HF Reference: 2303-2 Movement serial number: 16533618 Movement: Longines calibre 6942 Movement type: Hand-wound mechanical Case material: Stainless steel Case diameter: Approx. 36.5 mm excluding the crown; approx. 39 mm including the crown Lug-to-lug: Approx. 40 mm Dial: Silver with a light brushed finish Crystal: New, scratch-free Crown: Signed Longines crown Bracelet: Stainless-steel mesh bracelet with signed Longines clasp, fits wrists up to approx. 20 cm (incl. the watch) Accessories: No original box or papers Condition: The watch is in attractive overall vintage condition. The stainless-steel case retains its characteristic angular 1970s profile, with the broad brushed upper surface, polished recessed sections and defined case flanks still clearly visible. Scratches and small marks are present, consistent with age and normal wear. The silver dial is well preserved and retains its subtle brushed texture. The applied hour markers, printed minute track, Longines branding and Admiral HF text remain clear. The hands and markers show some age-related wear and darkening, while a few minor marks and areas of discolouration can be seen upon close inspection. The watch retains its signed Longines crown and is fitted with its original stainless-steel mesh bracelet featuring a signed Longines clasp. The bracelet and clasp show light surface wear consistent with use. The new crystal is clean and scratch-free. The hand-wound movement has been freshly serviced and all functions operate correctly. A 3-month functionality guarantee is included. I aim to capture the condition of the watch accurately. Please make sure to review the pictures closely before bidding. The watch has been completely serviced by a professional watchmaker and tested for full functionality. The water resistance of the watch cannot be guaranteed.
