These movements were based on robust pocket watch calibers adapted for wrist use. The movement features: Manual winding system Solid nickel finished plates Multiple jewel bearings for reduced friction and longevity Traditional Swiss lever escapement Large balance wheel for stable timekeeping Omega movements from this era are known for durability, precision, and ease of servicing. The serial number visible on the movement confirms its early production period consistent with WWI years. This is not just a watch but a piece of history. Early Omega military watches are increasingly difficult to find in working condition, especially recently serviced examples. An exceptional collector’s piece for enthusiasts of military watches, early wristwatches, or historical Omega timepieces.
