Wittnauer - Genève Automatic Date - Ohne mindestpreis - 3526 - Herren - 1970-1979

I am offering a beautiful and rare vintage piece for auction! An elegant Swiss classic: Wittnauer /Longines/ Genève Automatic wristwatch from the 1970s • Gold-plated case in excellent, well-preserved condition • Beautiful original condition – the dial, case, and hands have a consistent, well-preserved appearance • Wittnauer C11AE (ETA 2784) automatic movement – 17 jewels, Swiss made, operating at a frequency of 28800, reliable and high-quality caliber • Service history is unknown; the watch works and keeps time well • Stunning gold-toned dial with applied dark/gold indexes and hands, with date display at 3 o'clock • Stainless steel caseback (marked inside Wittnauer Watch Co. Swiss C 11 AE 3526) • New brown, lizard-patterned Hirsch leather strap • Case diameter: 34.0 mm (without crown) • Lug-to-lug distance: 38.0 mm • In its special, period-correct box – comes with original Wittnauer watch box and cushion • Very nice, completely original collector's condition This watch was born as part of a truly stylish era of Wittnauer, the "Genève" series. The history of the brand is extremely exciting: for decades, Wittnauer was the official American partner and sister brand of Longines, so the two names became inseparably fused in the history of premium Swiss watchmaking. The ETA 2784-based (Wittnauer C11AE) movement beating inside is one of the most precise, high-frequency (28,800 A/h) automatic constructions of the era, providing extremely smooth second hand movement. The special, slightly barrel-shaped (tonneau/cushion) case shape and the texture of the gold dial perfectly evoke the premium elegance of the '70s in person. No reserve price – the highest bid takes it! Save on shipping costs! Check out my other wristwatches, I provide combined shipping for purchases of multiple items! The photos are original, not manipulated, and form part of the description. The watch is a used (vintage) piece, therefore minor scratches or signs of use may occur. We test the wristwatches for 48 hours, and we only put them up for bid if we do not experience any problems, however, since this wristwatch is more than 50 years old, we cannot guarantee the exact operation of the movement. Please bid with this in mind! Fast, insured shipping. Please check my feedback – customer satisfaction is the most important for me. There is no customs duty or other tax within the European Union. Customs and import costs outside the EU are the responsibility of the buyer.
