An elegant and highly recognizable example of the IWC Portugieser Chronograph, presented in a stainless steel case with a beautifully balanced silver dial, applied gold-tone Arabic numerals and matching feuille hands. The dial layout is one of the most iconic in the modern Portugieser line, with a 30-minute chronograph register at 12 o’clock, small seconds at 6 o’clock and a central blued chronograph seconds hand. The watch measures approximately 41 mm in diameter and is fitted with a sapphire crystal. The stainless steel case combines polished and brushed finishes and remains in very attractive condition, with no major signs of wear visible. The sapphire crystal is clean and free from scratches. The silver dial is in excellent condition, with crisp printing, applied numerals and no visible damage. Based on the estimated production period of around 2005, this watch is powered by the IWC calibre 79240 automatic chronograph movement, an IWC-modified chronograph calibre based on the proven Valjoux 7750 architecture.
