Vom Verkäufer bereitgestellte Beschreibung

Original acrylic painting on professional cotton canvas 70 × 50 cm, hand-signed. With its certificate of authenticity. Created in 2026, sold directly by the artist in excellent condition, protected by varnish to preserve its colors and finish. Shipped rolled and protected in a customized package from Spain.

Description of the lot.

Work, part of the series: “Viento en popa…” where I combine abstract style with marine-themed composition. A formal investigation that seeks atmospheres and compositions that allows me to blend gestural experimentation with realistic detail, uncovering a more evocative and encompassing painting experience.

About the artist.

Multimedia artist, sculptor, painter, photographer and video creator. Graduated from the Higher Institute of Art (Course 2002-2007). He has held nearly twenty solo exhibitions — both in Cuba and abroad — and participated in more than fifty collective exhibitions in various parts of the world, as well as international video creation festivals and monumental sculpture symposiums in China and Cuba. He has been invited twice to be part of the main curatorship of the Havana Biennial. Throughout his career he has received several awards and recognitions, among them the most important distinction given by his hometown to a visual artist, the Fidelio Ponce de León distinction (2017).

He has lectured in China, Buenos Aires and at several universities in the United States such as the School of Visual Arts in New York (SVA-NY), Carnegie Mellon University and the Pittsburgh Art Institute, as well as Montclair State University in New Jersey. Some of his works belong to private and/or institutional collections in Cuba and abroad. He is part of the Ignacio Agramonte Museum Collection in Camagüey, Cuba. Collection of the bank, CREDICOP, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Sculpture collection in the Changchun City Park, China. Sculpture collection in Guilin City Park, China. Public park sculpture, Alamar, Havana, Cuba. Public park sculpture Mario Aróstegui, Camagüey, Cuba. Monumental interactive sculpture at the Miramar Business Center in Havana.
