Seiko - 6602-8050 - Ohne mindestpreis - Herren - 1970

Up for auction is a beautiful piece of 1970s Seiko history: a Seiko Manual Winding 17 Jewels with date function, originating from July 1970 based on its serial number (073302). This watch features a highly reliable, classic mechanical hand-wound movement housed in a distinctive, robust cushion-shaped stainless steel case. It oozes authentic vintage character, showing a gorgeous, even tropicalized/patinated dial that tells a story of over 50 years of history. An excellent entry-level vintage piece or a rugged addition to any daily vintage rotation. Condition Report Dial & Hands: The original silver/champagne dial has aged to a distinctive, heavily patinated "tropical" finish with uniform spotting/oxidation across the surface, giving it an undeniable vintage aesthetic. The applied indices and baton hands remain intact and clearly legible. Case: The stainless steel cushion case is in unpolished, original condition. It shows honest signs of wear, including light scratches, scuffs, and minor dings consistent with a watch of this age. Crystal: The acrylic crystal shows some surface scuffs and scratches but remains clear enough to see the dial easily. Caseback: The screw-down caseback clearly displays the Seiko branding, lightning bolt Daini factory logo, reference number 6602-8050, and the serial number. It shows noticeable scratching from previous opening attempts over the decades. Movement & Function: The manual-wound 6602 movement is running accurately. The date changes smoothly. Service History: Unknown service history. As with all vintage timepieces, a routine service is recommended for daily long-term wear or water resistance. Strap: Fitted on an aftermarket, lightly worn black alligator-grain "Genuine Leather" strap with a steel buckle. Technical Specifications Brand: Seiko Reference: 6602-8050 Serial Number: 073302 (Production date: July 1970) Movement: Manual winding (Hand-wound), 17 Jewels Case Material: Stainless Steel Case Diameter: Approx. 35mm (excluding crown) Functions: Hours, Minutes, Central Seconds, Date Strap Material: Aftermarket Black Leather Lug Width: 20mm (indicated on the strap inside) Shipping & Presentation The watch will be carefully packaged and shipped securely with tracking and insurance.
