The Seiko 5 is one of Seiko’s most famous and long-running automatic watch lines. Since its introduction in 1963, the Seiko 5 collection has been loved around the world as one of Seiko’s representative mechanical automatic watch series, known for its practical design, reliable automatic movement and everyday usability. This model has a clean and sporty black dial with large Arabic numerals at 12, 6 and 9, luminous-style hour markers, centre seconds and a day-date display at 3 o’clock. The dial is marked: SEIKO 5 AUTOMATIC The case back is marked: SEIKO WATER RESISTANT STAINLESS STEEL 7S26-0060 922062 The watch is fitted with a Seiko 7S26 automatic mechanical movement. The crown has one pulled position, and the day and date quick-change functions have been checked. The day display is bilingual, English and Spanish. Weekdays are shown in black, Saturday in blue and Sunday in red. The watch is fitted with a new black leather strap marked “Genuine Leather”. Please note that the lug width appears to be approximately 19 mm, while the fitted strap is 18 mm. The strap is attached and can be used normally, but it is slightly narrower than the lug width. The case measures approximately 37.4 mm in diameter, excluding the crown. Condition: The watch is in used vintage condition. There are signs of age and use on the case, bezel, crystal and case back.
