He was a student at the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts between 1935 and 1939, where he was taught by Béla Ohmann, Elek Lux and Endre Domanovszky. In the summers, he worked at the Százados út artist colony with György Nemes and Zsigmond Kisfaludi Strobl. In 1938, he also studied at the Vilmos Aba-Novák drawing school. In 1940, he was hired as a designer at Herend. Between 1961 and 1979, he was the artistic director of the porcelain factory.) From a private collection.
