I am the first and only owner of this lens. It was purchased brand new around 2018 and has only been used for amateur photography, mainly during family trips and holidays. Since switching to a full-frame camera, the lens has been safely stored in its protective case and has seen virtually no use. It is therefore ready to find a new owner. Optical and mechanical condition - Optical elements: Excellent condition, with no scratches, marks or damage to the glass. The lens has delivered exceptionally sharp, detailed and contrast-rich images since new. - Autofocus and electronics: Fully functional. Autofocus works quickly, accurately and quietly thanks to the HSM motor. - Zoom and focus rings: Operate correctly and smoothly. Cosmetic condition - Lens body: Shows normal, minor signs of use, including a few light surface scratches. - Front ring / filter thread area: There are several deeper scratches on the front ring. These were caused when a filter became stuck and the ring was scratched during attempts to remove it.
