Instead, it uses the classic semi quick-set system: Advance the hands until the date changes at midnight. Turn the hands back to approximately 9:00–10:00 PM. Then move them forward past midnight again. Each repetition advances the date by one day, making date adjustment much faster than rotating through full 24-hour cycles.
