Seiko Lord Matic (LM) — Ref. 5606-7150 — Automatic Day-Date, Stainless Steel — 1971 Overview A vintage Seiko Lord Matic from Seiko's Suwa factory, one of the most popular Japanese dress lines of the early 1970s. The silver dial carries the LM logo and 23 JEWELS signature with applied indices and luminous points. It comes on its original Seiko LM-signed bracelet. Based on the serial number, this example was produced in May 1971. Please read the condition notes carefully regarding the dial. Specifications - Brand: Seiko - Model / Reference: Lord Matic — Ref. 5606-7150 (dial code 5606-7380R) - Serial number: 152309 (indicating May 1971 production) - Movement: Automatic — calibre 5606, 23 jewels - Case: Stainless steel, marked WATER RESISTANT with Suwa mark - Dial: Silver with applied black-lined indices and luminous points, double index at 12 o'clock; day-date window at 3 o'clock (English day wheel shown, Sunday in red) - Bracelet: Original Seiko bracelet with LM-signed clasp, approx. 16.5–17 cm wrist size as pictured - Total weight: approx. 73.9 g - Year of production: 1971 Condition In good vintage condition overall, but with notable age-related dial blemishes that should be taken into account: there are several verdigris-like corrosion spots and staining around the outer edge of the dial and the rehaut ring (most visible around 10–12 and 2–4 o'clock), yellowing on the rehaut ring, and small spots and patina on the dial surface. The case and bezel show polish marks and small scratches, the case back shows rubbing, and the bracelet links show soiling and small rust spots. Please refer to the photos carefully, as they form part of the condition description. Working order The watch is in working order (running at the time of listing). As a vintage timepiece over 50 years old, accuracy and water resistance are not tested or guaranteed, and routine servicing may be beneficial. Included Watch only. No box or papers.
