A gold-framed calendar (date) window is positioned at 3 o'clock Case Diameter: Approximately 37 mm including the winding crown (approximately 34.5 - 35 mm excluding the crown). Thanks to its iconic beefy lugs case geometry, it delivers a very well-balanced, solid, and attractive presence on the wrist . The right and left profile silhouettes of the case can be inspected in images respectively. Case Structure: Features a gold plated bezel and upper mid-case structure paired with a steel back, offering the era's classic "Gold Cap / Steel Back" architecture. It retains its original gold-plated winding crown adorned with the Omega logo . Due to its age, hairline scratches true to regular wear may be present on the case Caseback: Original stainless steel, specialized screw-down/snap caseback structure. The outer surface proudly bears the legendary Seahorse emblem in relief, the signature hallmark of the Seamaster series . The inner side clearly displays the original "Omega Watch Co. - Fab. Suisse - Swiss Made - Acier Inoxydable" hallmarks along with the watch's original case reference number 2849 - 8 SC Dial and Hands: A rare emerald green dial with immense visual allure . The gold-colored circular double indices (doubled at 12 o'clock), gold-toned Dauphine-style hands, and the 3 o'clock date window offer a magnificent aesthetic harmony. The dial bears the "Omega Automatic - Seamaster Calendar - Swiss Made" signatures. The dial has been refinished/repainted (redial). Condition & Accessories Details Operational Status: The high-condition Caliber 503 automatic movement, date transition, and timekeeping operate smoothly, fluidly, and reliably by vintage standards Strap & Buckle: To create a stunning contrast with the green dial and gold case, the watch has been fitted with a brand-new tan/cognac leather strap featuring an alligator/lizard skin pattern and a steel buckle Please Note: This watch is a special collector's piece that beautifully reflects period aesthetics and vintage elegance. Details such as light hairline scratches on the case and the repainted dial (redial). Due to its antique nature, no water resistance warranty is provided.
