■ Overview

This is the Nikon AF Nikkor 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 D (Serial: 268519), originally released in 1998.
It is a highly versatile high-power zoom lens that covers everything from wide-angle to telephoto, making it a great all-in-one lens for travel and daily use.
It has been practically tested on a digital full-frame DSLR (Nikon D600) and is ready for use.

■ Condition

・Appearance: Very Good Condition.
There are no major scratches or heavy scuffs. Overall, it is very clean and maintains a beautiful appearance as a vintage practical lens.

・Optics: EXCELLENT.
No fungus and no haze affecting the images. The glass is very clear and maintains beautiful transparency.
There is only a minimal amount of normal dust inside. The optics are in excellent condition, delivering clear and sharp results with no negative impact on your photography.

・Functional: Good Working Order.
Autofocus (AF) is working properly on my Nikon D600.
IMPORTANT NOTE for AF: This is an older AF lens. Autofocus will ONLY work on Nikon bodies with a built-in focus motor (e.g., D600, D700, D800, D7000 series). On entry-level bodies without a built-in motor (e.g., D3000 or D5000 series), it will operate as MANUAL FOCUS only.
The helicoid (focus ring), zoom ring, and aperture ring move smoothly.
The aperture blades are clean, snappy, and work correctly.
