Seiko - Seiko 5 - Ohne mindestpreis - 7009-3040 - Herren - 1980-1989

Seiko 5 — Ref. 7009-3040 — Automatic Day-Date, Stainless Steel, Grey Dial — PLEASE NOTE: Calendar Quickset Not Working Overview A classic Seiko 5 automatic powered by the calibre 7009, with a silver-grey dial, gold-tone hands and indices with decorative cut markers, and a day-date display, on its original-style Seiko bracelet. Please read the condition notes carefully — sold with a functional defect. IMPORTANT — FUNCTIONAL DEFECT The calendar quickset (rapid day/date advance) does not work. The day and date can only be advanced by turning the hands. Sold as-is in this respect — the price expectation should reflect this. The watch itself is running. Specifications - Brand: Seiko - Model / Reference: Seiko 5 — Ref. 7009-3040 - Serial number: 098165 (September production; year ending in 0 — 1980 or 1990, Seiko's serial format does not distinguish the decade) - Movement: Automatic — calibre 7009 - Case: Stainless steel, solid case back marked WATER RESISTANT; crown at 4 o'clock - Dial: Silver-grey with gold-tone bar indices, decorative cut markers and luminous dots; day-date window at 3 o'clock (Sunday shown in red) - Bracelet: Seiko metal bracelet with signed clasp, approx. 16.5–17 cm wrist size as pictured - Total weight: approx. 85.0 g Condition In fair condition, sold with the functional defect noted above. Cosmetically the watch presents well for its age: the dial and hands are clean with no notable fading, the crystal shows no major scratches, and the case shows only fine rubbing. The main cosmetic wear is on the bracelet: several links show brownish rust-like deposits and spots on their inner surfaces and joints, and the clasp shows light scratches. Please refer to the photos carefully, as they form part of the condition description. Working order The watch is running (automatic movement, working at the time of listing), but the calendar quickset does not function — see the note above. Accuracy and water resistance are not tested or guaranteed, and servicing may be beneficial. Included Watch only. No box or papers. Shipping Ships from Japan. Registered and insured shipping, mainly via DHL or FedEx. Import duties or taxes may apply depending on the buyer's country. These charges must be paid by the buyer. No weekend shipping as courier pickups are unavailable on Saturdays and Sundays. Please feel free to contact me with any questions before placing your bid.
