This sleek and minimal halogen desk lamp, model "Cric" (art. 057), was manufactured in Italy during the 1980s by Future Line S.r.l. Embodying the innovative aesthetic of the Postmodern era, the "Cric" model directly references and is almost visually identical to the famous German Philips QTG-452 lamp from the same decade. It features the exact same iconic dome-shaped base, slender parallel rod structure, and adjustable hemispherical shade. The double-rod mechanism acts as an articulated parallelogram, allowing smooth height and angle adjustment of the shade while keeping the silhouette remarkably clean and airy. The heavy dome base houses the internal transformer and features a two-position switch for dual light intensity settings (high/low). Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
