The unit features the distinctive slanted control panel design characteristic of this pioneering series, along with Technics' Class AA amplifier system and a front-loading disc drawer with a soft-touch sliding cover. The player includes a wide range of playback functions typical of early digital audio engineering, including programmable track memory, index search, auto cue, variable search speed, and a rotary jog dial for track navigation. Rear connections include fixed and variable line outputs, a wired remote terminal, and a subcode output for professional or archival use. Basic functionality has been tested and confirmed to power on and operate.
