Seiko - Lord Matic - Ohne mindestpreis - 5601-9000 - Herren - 1970-1979

Seiko Lord Matic automatic wristwatch, reference 5601-9000, dating from 1970. This vintage Lord Matic features the desirable no-date configuration, giving the watch a particularly clean and well-balanced appearance. The silver-tone dial is complemented by applied baton hour markers, dauphine-style hands and a central seconds hand. The absence of a date window creates a simple and elegant design characteristic of classic Japanese dress watches of the period. The watch is powered by Seiko’s 23-jewel automatic movement. The stainless steel case measures approximately 36 mm in diameter excluding the crown, offering excellent proportions for a vintage men’s wristwatch. The case has been refinished, and the movement has been inspected and accuracy adjusted. Fitted with an aftermarket black leather strap and aftermarket buckle. Reference: 5601-9000 Year: 1970 Movement: Automatic, 23 jewels Case: Stainless steel Case diameter: Approx. 36 mm excluding crown Strap: Aftermarket black leather Buckle: Aftermarket Condition The watch is in Very Good vintage condition considering its age. The stainless steel case has been refinished and presents very well overall, with only minor traces of age and use remaining. The silver-tone dial remains attractive and clearly legible. Some small age-related spots, discoloration and deterioration are visible, particularly around the outer and lower areas of the dial. These are consistent with the age of the watch and can be seen in the photographs. The crystal presents well overall. The movement has been inspected and the accuracy adjusted. The watch is currently running well. Time setting, winding and the hacking/seconds-stop function are operating correctly. The black leather strap and buckle are aftermarket replacements. Please carefully review all photographs, as they form an important part of the description and accurately show the cosmetic condition of the watch. Important Information This is a vintage mechanical watch dating from 1970. Although it is currently running well and has been inspected and adjusted, future accuracy and continuous operation cannot be guaranteed to modern watch standards. Water resistance has not been tested and is not guaranteed. Despite the original “Water Proof” marking on the case back, the watch should be kept away from water. The leather strap and buckle are aftermarket replacements. Import duties, VAT, customs charges and any other fees imposed in the buyer's country are the responsibility of the buyer. The watch will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking. The declared customs value will reflect the actual transaction value. Requests to declare a lower value cannot be accepted.
