Registration Label: Blue R-stamp reading "MANCHESTER 229 / No. 82". Departure Postmark: Oval registration date stamp REGISTERED / MANCHESTER, dated 30 JA 22 (30 January 1922). Arrival Postmark: On the reverse, a clear German arrival circular date stamp BREMEN, dated -1.2.22.8-9V (1 February 1922). Transit time was exactly one day. Special Feature: Sealed on the front with a large, intact red wax seal. Addressed to "Messrs F. H. Bachmann, Transit-Abt, Bremen, Germany". Michel No. 187 / Stanley Gibbons (SG) 451 (1934 Re-engraved issue). Postmark Inscription: The text preceding the main town name reads "TUNSTALL". This indicates a combined office or localized cancellation (e.g., TUNSTALL / WOLVERHAMPTON), dated 2 JY 37, 8.30 AM. Condition: Good perforation on all sides, centered. Michel No. 155 / Stanley Gibbons (SG) 418 (Issued from 1924, Block Cypher watermark). Colour / Printing: Dark orange-vermilion with a very intense ink application. Condition: Unused with original gum and hinge remnant (mint hinged). Good perforation on all sides, well centered. Michel No. 156 Y / Stanley Gibbons (SG) 414a (Issued from 1924, Block Cypher watermark inverted). Condition: Good perforation on all sides, well centered. Postmark: Cancelled with a black wavy lines machine stamp. Special Feature 1: Watermark inverted. Special Feature 2 (Plate flaw combination): Triple unlisted constant plate variety in the bottom tablet: The letter "O" in "ONE PENNY" appears as a true, distinct "Q" with a clear diagonal tail at the bottom right. The frame line directly above the letter "P" is clearly broken. The top bar of the letter "E" in "PENNY" is clearly split/forked at the top (visible under magnification). Michel No. 128 X / Stanley Gibbons (SG) 357 (Issued from August 1912). Condition: Good perforation on all sides, slightly decentralized to the left. Postmark: Very well-struck circular date stamp GLASGOW, dated 17 OC 14, 4.30 PM. Special Feature: highly scarce large double-row G with reverse confetti inside some of the perforated holes. Michel No. 155 X / Stanley Gibbons (SG) 414. Special Feature: Unlisted constant plate variety in the bottom tablet. The letter "O" in "ONE PENNY" appears as a true, distinct "Q" with a clear diagonal tail at the bottom right, differing completely from the standard catalogued retouch variety.
