Vintage ZentRa Electronic Wristwatch — Stainless Steel — Date A distinctive vintage ZentRa Electronic wristwatch featuring a silver-toned original dial, an electronic battery-powered movement and a substantial stainless-steel cushion-shaped case. This model represents an interesting transitional period in watchmaking, when electronically regulated movements were introduced before quartz technology became dominant. Details Brand: ZentRa Model: Electronic Reference / case number: 7445 01 30 Movement: Battery-powered electromechanical movement Case material: Stainless steel Case shape: Cushion-shaped Dial: Original silver-toned dial Hour markers: Applied silver-tone baton markers Hands: Silver-tone hands with luminous inserts Functions: Hours, minutes, central seconds and date Date display: At 3 o’clock Crystal: Acrylic Strap: Brown genuine leather strap Strap length: Approximately 21 cm, including the watch Country of manufacture: Germany Movement The watch is fitted with a battery-powered electromechanical balance-wheel movement. Unlike a traditional mechanical watch, the movement is powered by a battery, while timekeeping is regulated by a conventional balance wheel. The electronic components, battery compartment and mechanical regulating system are visible in the photographs. The movement is signed ZentRa and is currently in working condition. Condition and Description The original silver-toned dial is preserved in very good condition. It features a fine linear texture, applied geometric hour markers and a framed date window at 3 o’clock. The black ZentRa and Electronic inscriptions remain clear and well preserved. The hands are fitted with luminous inserts. The luminous material shows natural ageing consistent with the age of the watch. A red-and-black minute track surrounds the dial and adds an attractive period detail. The stainless-steel cushion-shaped case is in very good vintage condition. The combination of brushed and polished surfaces gives the watch a characteristic 1960s–1970s appearance. A protective film or coating remains visible on the central section of the case back. The watch is fitted with a brown leather strap that complements its vintage character. A well-preserved and unusual vintage electronic wristwatch, appealing to collectors of early battery-powered watches and distinctive mid-century designs. Dimensions Case diameter without crown: 37,5 mm Case diameter including crown: 38 mm lug to lug width: 44 mm Thickness: 11 mm Notes The movement is working very good. Because this is a vintage watch, its original water-resistance rating can no longer be guaranteed. Contact with water should therefore be avoided. The photographs form an integral part of the description. Please examine them carefully for a complete assessment of the watch’s condition.
