Seiko - Lord Matic - Ohne mindestpreis - 5606-7290 - Herren - 1973

Seiko Lord Matic (LM) — Ref. 5606-7290 — Automatic, Day-Date, 25 Jewels, Blue Gradient Dial, Faceted Cut Glass, 1973 Overview A vintage Seiko Lord Matic (LM) from 1973, powered by the automatic calibre 5606 with 25 jewels. Two features make this example stand out: the blue gradient dial — shading from a silvery centre to deep navy at the edge with a radial brushed texture — and the multi-faceted cut-glass crystal, whose bevelled edges catch the light beautifully. The day-date window at 3 o'clock has a gold frame and a Japanese kanji day wheel (Sunday in red). Fitted with its original Seiko LM stainless steel bracelet. Specifications - Brand: Seiko - Model: Lord Matic (LM) — dial signed LM / 25 JEWELS with Suwa symbol - Reference: 5606-7290 (serial no. 3D2441 — December 1973) - Movement: Automatic — calibre 5606, 25 jewels, day-date at 3 o'clock (quickset) - Case: Stainless steel, angular case with brushed and polished finish; faceted cut-glass crystal; case back marked WATER RESISTANT / STAINLESS STEEL with Suwa symbol - Dial: Blue gradient (silver centre to dark navy edge) with applied faceted indices, gold accents at the quarters and luminous dots - Case diameter: to be confirmed — please see photos for proportions - Bracelet: Original Seiko LM stainless steel bracelet with SEIKO/LM-signed clasp, approx. 17 cm wrist size as pictured - Total weight: approx. 80.8 g Condition In good condition for its age, with visible signs of wear consistent with a 50-year-old vintage watch. The cut-glass crystal shows several surface rubbing marks and fine scratches visible in direct light, but no chips or cracks. The dial shows age-related spotting, light staining and dullness in places — please study the macro photos. The case shows overall light scratches with small marks around the lugs. The clasp shows heavier rubbing and one small dent, with a trace of verdigris near the spring bar area and a few faint brown spots on the clasp underside (would benefit from a clean). Please refer to the photos, which form part of the condition description. Working order The watch is in working order (running at the time of listing). As a vintage automatic, accuracy has not been tested or guaranteed, water resistance should not be assumed, and service history is unknown. Included Watch only. No box or papers. Shipping Ships from Japan. Registered and insured shipping, mainly via DHL or FedEx. Import duties or taxes may apply depending on the buyer's country. These charges must be paid by the buyer. No weekend shipping as courier pickups are unavailable on Saturdays and Sundays. Please feel free to contact me with any questions before placing your bid.
