The Minolta α101si (sold as the Dynax 300si in Europe and Maxxum 300si in North America) is an entry-level autofocus 35mm SLR released in 1995. It sat at the bottom of Minoltas mid-1990s si range as a simple, lightweight consumer body aimed at first-time SLR buyers, offering program, priority and manual modes with 8-segment metering, phase-detection autofocus and a built-in flash. It uses the Minolta / Sony A mount, so it accepts the full range of Minolta AF and later Sony A-mount lenses, which also adapt to mirrorless cameras via an adapter.
