--- Introduction --- A striking blue-dialled example of Seiko's much-loved pilot chronograph, built around the robust calibre 7T92. The bidirectional bezel carries a full aviation slide rule for fuel, distance and unit conversions, encircling a deep blue dial with three chronograph registers, luminous applied markers, a bright orange central seconds hand and a date aperture at three. A bold and highly legible everyday chronograph. Case & Bezel: Hairline scratches and light scuffing across the brushed and polished steel surfaces. Please note that the blue slide-rule bezel insert shows wear and paint loss along its outer edge, with lightening of the colour in places, as can be seen in the photographs. The bezel rotates as intended and its printing remains legible. Dial & Crystal: The blue dial is clean with crisp printing and all markers and hands present. The crystal shows minor superficial marks. Bracelet & Clasp: The steel bracelet shows surface scratches from wear; the signed folding clasp closes securely. Functions: The quartz movement was tested and is running, and the chronograph and date operate at the time of listing. Water resistance has not been re-tested and the watch should not be considered water resistant without a fresh service.
