Bechar 003 – Rare Uncut Lunar Meteorite Individual in an Exclusive Presentation A complete, three-dimensional piece of the Moon—not a thin slice and not a tiny chip. - 1.35 g - (1)

Bechar 003 – 1,35g – Rare Uncut Lunar Meteorite Individual in an Exclusive Presentation A complete, three-dimensional piece of the Moon—not a thin slice and not a tiny chip. Offered here is an exceptionally attractive 1,35g complete individual of the lunar meteorite Bechar 003. The specimen has not been cut or polished and preserves its natural shape on every side. This is precisely what makes the piece so desirable. Because of their rarity and high value, lunar meteorites are frequently divided into thin slices or extremely small fragments. A fully uncut specimen with genuine three-dimensional presence is offered far less often and provides a much more immediate impression of holding an actual stone from the Moon. Its natural surface displays a fascinating combination of pale cream and beige-grey areas, warm ochre to reddish-brown tones and contrasting dark mineral structures. Every depression, contour and colour pattern is unique—no other specimen has exactly the same shape or surface. Bechar 003 was discovered in Algeria in 2022 and is officially classified as a lunar feldspathic breccia. This rock consists of fragments from the Moon’s ancient crust that were shattered, mixed together and compacted into new solid rock by enormous impact events over billions of years. A later impact launched this material from the lunar surface into space with tremendous force. After a long cosmic journey, it eventually reached Earth and was discovered in the Sahara. This small and seemingly modest stone has therefore completed a journey that could hardly be more extraordinary. At 1g, the specimen already possesses a very attractive and tangible size. It does not appear merely as a tiny scientific sample, but as a genuine small extraterrestrial stone—natural, compact and viewable from every angle. The meteorite is securely housed in a high-quality transparent presentation box with a specially designed lunar insert. The clean display focuses attention entirely on the specimen and makes the ensemble immediately ready for a showcase, office or distinguished collection. What makes this offering particularly desirable is the rare combination of: genuine lunar material, a fully uncut form, attractive weight, natural surface, official classification and an exhibition-ready presentation. This is not merely a small sample of lunar rock, but a complete, naturally preserved collector’s specimen from our nearest celestial neighbour. An exceptional opportunity for collectors who are not looking for an ordinary chip or thin slice, but for an authentic, three-dimensional stone from the Moon with its own natural form, surface and unmistakable character. As a member of the International Meteorite Collectors Association – IMCA #7379 and the Global Meteorite Association – GMA #G0117, I guarantee the authenticity of every meteorite I offer. The specimen will, of course, be supplied with a corresponding Certificate of Authenticity. A genuine uncut piece of the Moon—rare, naturally preserved and exclusively presented. Thank you and good luck with your bidding! IMCA #7379 GMA #G0117
