Omega - Seamaster Professional 200M 'Serviced' - Ohne mindestpreis - 396.1052 - Herren - 1990-1999

Presented for auction by Second Vintage This sought-after 'Pre-Bond' Omega Seamaster Professional features a remarkably attractive warm yellow patina across its indices and hands, bringing exceptional vintage character to the classic integrated steel design. Brand: Omega Model: Seamaster Professional Reference Number: 396.1052 Serial Number: 53306667 Movement: Quartz Dial: Matte black with strong warm yellow patina Case Size: 37mm (excluding the crown) Case Material: Steel Production Year: 1990s Condition: Good vintage condition. Movement serviced on 21 July 2026. Dial and Hands The matte black dial surface is remarkably clean and well-preserved, providing a stark contrast to the printed text which remains crisp and fully intact. The luminous plots have aged beautifully to a strong, even warm yellow and orange patina, giving the watch an exceptionally attractive vintage character. The original hands feature a classic Mercedes hour hand and pencil minute hand configuration. The luminous material on the hands perfectly matches the warm tone of the dial indices, while the metal hand frames show light oxidation visible under magnification. Case and Crystal The steel case features a brushed finish that displays honest wear consistent with its age, including visible surface scratches and scuffs. There is some softening of the case edges from previous wear and possible polishing over the years. The black bezel insert shows noticeable surface scratches and scuffs, particularly between the 40 and 50 markers, though the silver numerals remain clearly legible. The outer steel grip ring of the bezel exhibits handling wear and minor dings. The prominent signed crown features the Omega logo in relief, with moderate wear visible on its knurling. A clear, flat crystal protects the dial, showing no significant scratches or chips. Movement Inside is the clean Omega caliber 1438 quartz movement, featuring six jewels and based on the ETA caliber 255.461. The movement presents very well, with clean surfaces and no visible signs of battery leakage or corrosion. The movement was serviced on 21 July 2026. Strap The watch is fitted with its original signed integrated steel bracelet, completing the recognizable 'Pre-Bond' silhouette. The links and clasp show visible surface scratches and desk-diving marks consistent with regular use. The clasp is clearly stamped with the Omega logo. The bracelet accommodates a maximum wrist size of 18cm. Condition Good vintage condition. The movement was serviced on 21 July 2026. The dial is exceptionally well-preserved with striking patina, while the hands show light oxidation. The brushed steel case, bezel, and original bracelet display honest wear, including surface scratches, scuffs, and minor dings on the bezel grip ring, alongside some softening of the case edges. The quartz movement is clean and visually well-maintained. Dimensions The case size is 37mm, excluding the crown. Remarks This Seamaster Professional stands out through its exceptionally even and warm luminous patina, which elevates the matte black dial. Complete with its original integrated bracelet, it represents a highly desirable configuration of a recognized collector favourite. History The Omega Seamaster Professional 200M, affectionately known by collectors as the 'Pre-Bond' Seamaster, was introduced in the late 1980s and served as a transitional bridge in Omega's dive watch lineage. Characterized by its integrated bracelet and distinct bezel design, it paved the way for the legendary Seamaster models of the 1990s. Today, the Pre-Bond is a recognized collector favourite, appreciated for its robust construction, precise quartz caliber, and classic late-twentieth-century styling.
