Ring - 18 kt Gelbgold - Vintage-Blume aus den 1920er-Jahren

Type of jewel: Antique diamond flower ring. Condition: In well-preserved condition, especially given this ring’s age. Style: A delicate floral design formed of pierced, scrolling openwork petals. Era: Circa 1920. Material: 18K yellow gold, touchstone tested. Technique: Pierced openwork, forming the scrolling petals of the flower head. Extra information: The scrolling openwork sections were probably originally set with coloured stones. These are no longer present, and the ring has been deliberately left in its current state. Diamonds: One brown old-cut diamond, estimated at approx. 0.11 ct (colour: brown; clarity: I), and six rose-cut diamonds. Total diamond count: 7 pcs. Total diamond weight: Approx. 0.11 ct, excluding the six rose-cut diamonds. Diamond weights, colour and clarity are approximate, as the stones were assessed in their settings and were not removed for grading or weighing. Rose-cut diamonds are traditionally described by number rather than by estimated weight, colour or clarity grades. Their varying and often irregular depth prevents reliable weight estimation while mounted, while formal colour and clarity grading is not customary in the trade for diamonds of this antique cutting style. All diamonds in this ring were individually tested with the EXA Natural Diamond Detector by Magilabs and identified as natural diamonds. Traditional gemstone associations: Diamond is traditionally associated with April, enduring love and courage. Engraving: The shoulders are decorated with finely engraved foliate motifs. Dimensions: Width across the ring head: 1.34 cm. See picture with a ruler in cm and inches. Weight: 2.80 gram. Ring size: 54 (EU) / N½ (UK) / 6¾ (US). Ring sizes are professionally measured and rounded to the nearest millimetre; slight variations are standard and do not affect wear.
