2020 Vieux Château Certan, Pomerol – 1 × 75 cl An outstanding and highly collectible Pomerol from one of Bordeaux’s most prestigious estates. Vieux Château Certan’s origins extend back to the 18th century, and the property has remained in the Thienpont family since 1924. Its historic 14-hectare vineyard forms a single block on the celebrated Pomerol plateau, close to Pétrus and Le Pin. The 2020 is a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, produced from the exceptionally low yield of approximately 30 hl/ha. The wine matured for 18 months in French oak, approximately 65% new.
