Zwei Bände umfassende, illustrierte, limitierte und nummerierte Ausgabe von Les Chefs-d'Oeuvres de Shakespeare, illustriert von Gradassi, in französischer Sprache mit Übersetzung von V. Hugo, erschienen 1972 und 1974, mit ganzledernen Einbänden in Schubern und beigefügten Tafeln, jeweils 26 cm × 20 cm, 195 Seiten (Band I) bzw. 174 Seiten (Band II), in sehr gutem Zustand mit leichter Sonnabnutzung am Rücken und einer angestoßenen Erzschachtel.

Each play is illustrated by 3 full page plates, 3 vignettes at the beginning of acts, and a number of small decorative tail pieces.
Very good condition. The spines a little sun faded. On box bumped at one corner causing also a hardly noticeable bump to the book corner inside (pictured in last in photo). Note: some of the close-up photos are a little out of focus at the borders. The printing of the illustrations is perfectly sharp!
