The combination of the textured blue dial, applied silver-tone indexes and substantial stainless-steel construction gives the watch an elegant yet sporty appearance. The watch is powered by Seiko’s 8B43 solar quartz movement and does not require regular battery replacement under normal use. Radio reception has been tested and confirmed to work properly in Japan. Please note that the 8B43 caliber is designed to receive the Japanese JJY standard radio signal. Radio-controlled time synchronization is not available outside the Japanese reception area. When used overseas, the time can be manually adjusted and the watch can be used as a regular quartz watch.
