A matching pair of lidded porcelain serving dishes (tureens) by the renowned Swiss manufacturer Langenthal AG, marked “Suisse Langenthal” with the striped oval shield mark and letter code “B” to the base of the large tureen and "D" to the base of the small tureen. Fine white porcelain decorated in green with a scrolling rococo-style border, small flower-basket motifs, and floral garlands. Each lid is topped with a sculpted finial in the form of a ribbed artichoke bud with leaves — a distinctive decorative detail typical of Langenthal’s more elaborate tableware lines. The set comprises: • One large oval tureen: 21 cm diameter (25 cm with handles), 8 cm high (12 cm with lid) • One smaller round tureen: 10.5 cm diameter (12.5 cm with handles), 5 cm high (8 cm with lid) Condition: excellet condition, no chirps or cracks. Original maker’s marks present and legible on both pieces.
