Known for their unique take on watchmaking and horological design, it serves as no surprise that Hublot’s timepieces are often quite different from the rest of the market’s. Championing that very idea is their Big Bang “All Black Drive,” a limited edition model launched in 2007 for Hublot’s very first boutique, their boutique in Paris. Offering just 50 pieces, this reference is a left-handed “destro” variant of Hublot’s most popular model, the Big Bang, with its winding crown at 9 o’clock. However, surprisingly this model was not designed solely for left-handed wearers, and instead for right-handed wearers so that its chronograph functions could be more easily operated by a right-handed wearer that wore their timepiece on their left hand and operated their watch with their right hand, a rather intuitive piece of design.
