Very nice B.M.W. “Isetta” of the 1960’s, made by Spot-On in scale 1:42. Spot-On (models by Tri-ang) ref. 118, painted in mint green with a yellow interior and red steering wheel. The model car features a leaf suspension but has no opening parts. It comes with its original cardboard box and documentation (no reproductions). The model car is in excellent, near perfect mint condition, with an undamaged license plate “LTR145” (9,5/10). The box is in good condition, but unfortunately misses 2 flaps on one side (6,5/10). Undamaged Spot-On boxes are very rare because of a “Spot-On Free Model” promotion policy where kids could send in 10 Spot-On carton flaps to receive a free model car. Box dimensions: 6 x 3,5 x 3,5 cm. As an extra rare bonus, the model comes complete with the genuine documents: a collector’s data sheet of the BMW Isetta and a small form to join the “Spot-On Fleet-Owners Club”.
