Country of origin: Belgium. Style: Vintage, with an angular raised setting and diamond-set shoulders. Era: circa 1970. Material: 18K white gold, touchstone tested. Diamonds: One brilliant-cut diamond with an estimated weight of ± 0.17 ct, and six eight-cut diamonds with a combined estimated weight of ± 0.09 ct. Total diamond count: 7 pcs. Total diamond weight: approx. 0.26 ct. (average colour and clarity: H–I / VS–SI; overall average, minor variations may occur between individual stones). Diamond weights, colour and clarity are approximate, as the stones were assessed in their settings and were not removed for grading or weighing. All diamonds in this ring were individually tested with the Magilabs' EXA Natural Diamond Detector and identified as natural diamonds. Traditional gemstone associations: Diamonds are traditionally associated with April and enduring love. Hallmarks: The maker’s mark has a barrel-shaped surround, a form characteristic of Belgium and legally required from 1952 although already in use earlier; stamped ‘0750’.
