Italian Chippendale bed side tables/nightstands, 1940s/1950s. Fine matched pair of antique bedside cabinets, crafted in figure maple veneer and solid wood. Each cabinet features an elegant shaped form with a single cupboard door, raised on cabriole legs. The tops are fitted with black glass panels. They were made with high skills of craftsmanship. They are in great size and weight, so, they are very stable. There are cracks on one glass top's back edge (seen on photos), but glued so it works functionally. It is well-reserved with all orignial parts. The condition is great for its age, despite of some scratches/minor defects of age and use (seen on the photos). They have been refreshed only with wax with its natural splendid patina after years. Measurement: Width 61 cm x Height 67 cm x Depth 40 cm Made in Milan, Italy. Period: 1950s/1960s
