Rarissimo cofanetto in vetro opalino azzurro con montatura in ottone, smalti in rilievo e doratura a mano - Francia, Fine XIX secolo Cofanetto da tavolo o portagioie d'epoca, realizzato in vetro opalino color azzurro cielo (bleu céleste) e risalente alla seconda metà del XIX secolo (periodo Napoleone III / epoca vittoriana, circa 1860-1890). Il corpo e il coperchio sono impreziositi da ricche decorazioni eseguite interamente a mano in rilievo, caratterizzate da delicate ghirlande di fiorellini rosa, eleganti festoni, motivi a corda/treccia e raffinate finiture in oro a caldo di altissima qualità, tipiche della produzione vetraria europea di lusso dell'epoca. L'oggetto è dotato della sua montatura centrale originale in metallo dorato/ottone con cerniera, perfettamente funzionante e allineata. Sul fondo è chiaramente visibile la tipica cicatrice del pontello circolare, a conferma della soffiatura a bocca e della pregiata lavorazione artigianale d'epoca. Misura circa 10 cm. buone condizioni di conservazione ed esemplare perfettamente integro. Il vetro non presenta sbeccature o crepe; la doratura, i rilievi a smalto e la struttura metallica sono conservati. Rare light blue opaline glass box with brass mount, raised enamel, and hand gilding - France, Late 19th Century Vintage table box or jewellery casket made of sky-blue opaline glass (bleu céleste) and dating back to the second half of the 19th century (Napoleon III / Victorian period, circa 1860-1890). The body and the lid are embellished with rich decorations executed entirely by hand in relief, characterized by delicate garlands of small pink flowers, elegant swags, rope/braid motifs and refined hot gold finishes of the highest quality, typical of the luxury European glass production of the epoch. The object is equipped with its original central mount in gilded metal/brass with a hinge, perfectly functioning and aligned. On the bottom is clearly visible the typical circular pontil scar, confirming the mouth-blowing and the fine epoch artisan workmanship. Measures approximately 10 cm. Good conservation conditions and perfectly intact specimen. The glass does not present chips or cracks; the gilding, the enamel reliefs and the metal structure are preserved.
