FULL DESCRIPTION This authentic vintage Boucherouite rug was handmade by Berber women weavers in Morocco using traditional techniques and carefully selected recycled textile fibres. Measuring 90 × 220 cm, its elongated format makes it an ideal Moroccan runner for a hallway, entrance, bedside area, dressing room or narrow living space. The rug features a striking deep black background decorated with a rhythmic succession of geometric diamond and medallion motifs. The contrasting shades of red, terracotta, ivory, pale blue, green and navy create a rich, vibrant composition with a strong graphic presence. Each motif was created freely by the weaver, without following an industrial pattern.
