Condition: Open Box Tamiya 1/24 Full View Porsche 911 GT1 (Part No.: 24208) Overview & Story: This 1/24-scale plastic model kit is a precise reproduction of the “Porsche 911 GT1,” which stunned motorsports fans around the world by achieving a brilliant result at the 1996 24 Hours of Le Mans—winning first and second place in the GT1 class (and finishing second and third overall). This kit features a “Full View” design, with all body panels molded from transparent clear plastic. It is a special display model that allows you to fully admire the mid-mounted engine and the internal structure of the racing chassis—refined to the absolute limit—from the outside even after assembly. Highlights of This Kit ・Clear body that beautifully reveals the interior While retaining the silhouette of the production 911 (993 model), the sleek and wide body—completely redesigned for Le Mans victory—is reproduced with transparent parts. With careful painting, you can enjoy both the body lines and the mechanics of the real car simultaneously, resulting in a stunning finish. ・High-density reproduction of the mid-ship engine Inside the rear cowl, the “3.2-liter flat-six twin-turbo engine”—boasting a maximum output of over 600 horsepower—is modeled with ultra-high precision, down to the auxiliary components and various piping. ・ Pure Racing Car Chassis Structure and Suspension As you assemble the model, you can experience the high-tech mechanisms designed to conquer Le Mans, including a spartan cockpit crisscrossed by a roll cage, pushrod-type front and rear suspension, and an underpanel equipped with a massive diffuser. ・Vivid Graphics and High-Quality Decals Includes slide-on decals that reproduce the iconic livery of the Porsche Works Team. Tamiya’s high-quality decals blend seamlessly with the complex body lines, allowing you to apply beautiful markings.
