A fascinating circular bronze amulet, approximately 20 mm, decorated with a dense arrangement of deeply incised angular lines. The composition is dominated by a strong central X-shaped crossing, surrounded by vertical and diagonal strokes that create the appearance of an interwoven runic or bind-rune-like design. In the Norse world, runes were used primarily as a writing system, but individual runes and combined signs could also occur in symbolic or magical contexts. A bind rune combines multiple runic forms into a single compact device. The overlapping geometry of this amulet gives it the visual character of such a composite symbol, although the individual runes and intended inscription cannot be securely reconstructed from the surviving design. The irregular hand-cut lines are particularly attractive, covering almost the entire face and producing an enigmatic, talismanic appearance. Its dark green and earthy patina contrasts beautifully with the warmer bronze visible within the engraved lines. The original amulet has been presented as a wearable historical jewel with a modern silver suspension ring and silver chain.
