Its shutter-priority automation and light, well-balanced body still make it an excellent camera to learn on. Offered here with the Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 S.S.C., the fast standard lens carrying Canon's Super Spectra Coating — the higher-grade multicoating of the FD line, and noticeably better than the plain S.C. version at controlling flare.
