The incorporation of a resin cow miniature directly onto the canvas breaks the boundary between pictorial image and physical object, making the cow appear to literally emerge from the landscape. His work establishes connections between historical iconography, popular culture, everyday objects and visual memory, creating artworks that move between irony, visual appropriation and contemporary reinterpretation.
