Große chinesische Porzellanvasse aus der Qing-Dynastie des 19. Jahrhunderts mit Flambé-Glasur - Porzellan - China - Qing Dynastie (1644-1911)
This magnific, antique Chinese bottle vase from the late Qing Dynasty (19th century) is a classic example of flambé-glazed porcelain.
This large vase features a striking sang-de-boeuf (oxblood) flambé glaze. The deep red glaze is characterized by rich, mottled tones and vertical "drips," often thinning to a lighter cream or celadon color around the rim and neck.
It has a traditional baluster or bottle-shaped form with a globular body, a long tapering neck, and a flared rim.
Notably, this piece was previously converted into a lamp base, indicated by the hole drilled through the center of the base for electrical wiring. This modification is common for 19th-century Chinese export porcelain.
Dating to the late 19th century, it represents the continued tradition of copper-red glazed ceramics popularized during the earlier Qianlong period.
Weight is 3627 gr.
Height is 39cm.
Width is 25cm.
Diameter of the rim is 15cm.
