Glänzender, lebhafter pinkfarbener Diamant • OHNE RESERVEPREIS • Erstklassige & Einzigartige Freiform - Höhe: 5 mm - Breite: 4 mm- 0.11 g - (1)

DESCRIPTION: This natural pink diamond from Lunda Norte immediately stands out through its highly irregular sculptural morphology and its beautifully uneven distribution of colour. Rather than following a rounded or symmetrical crystal form, it presents a complex freeform structure composed of natural crystalline planes, recesses and angular surfaces that change continuously with orientation. Its colour ranges from delicate pale pink to significantly more saturated rose and raspberry pink areas. These stronger zones are naturally concentrated in selected portions of the crystal, creating an organic chromatic pattern where lighter areas contrast vividly with deeper colour pockets. This variation in saturation gives the diamond exceptional visual depth. As the specimen is rotated, some areas appear soft and luminous while others suddenly intensify into richer pink tones, making the crystal visually different from every angle. The surface architecture is equally expressive. Numerous natural planes and irregular facets interact with light individually, producing sharp adamantine reflections across selected areas while other surfaces remain softer and more diffused. Transparency varies from translucent to locally more open, particularly through the lighter pink portions. This allows light to penetrate the crystal and further emphasise the contrast between pale zones and the more intensely saturated areas. Originating from Lunda Norte, Angola, this specimen combines natural pink colour, strong adamantine lustre and an unusually individual rough morphology. Its appeal lies precisely in the fact that neither its form nor its colour distribution is uniform, giving it a distinctive identity that could never be reproduced through cutting. SPECIFICATIONS: • Weight: 0.11 g • Weight in carats: 0.55 ct • Dimensions: 5 × 4 × 4 mm • Origin: Lunda Norte, Angola • Gem material: Natural Diamond • Crystal system: Cubic • Form: Natural rough diamond • Morphology: Irregular sculptural freeform crystal • Primary colour: Natural Pink • Secondary tones: Rose Pink to Raspberry Pink • Colour distribution: Naturally irregular with locally intensified saturation • Transparency: Translucent to locally more transparent • Lustre: Adamantine • Surface features: Natural crystalline planes and irregular faceting • Treatment: None • Condition: Natural, unpolished and untreated NOTABLE POINTS: • Distinctive irregular freeform morphology A highly individual natural structure with no conventional rounded geometry. • Natural pink colour The specimen displays a clearly visible pink body throughout most of the crystal. • Localised high saturation zones Selected areas develop considerably stronger rose and raspberry pink concentrations. • Natural colour variation The transition between pale and saturated pink creates strong visual depth. • Complex crystalline architecture Numerous natural surfaces, recesses and angular planes remain fully preserved. • Strong adamantine lustre Selected faces produce sharp reflections characteristic of natural diamond. • Dynamic appearance under rotation Both saturation and brilliance change noticeably according to orientation. • Attractive translucency Lighter areas allow effective light penetration and enhance the internal colour. • Completely natural rough state No cutting or polishing has altered the original crystal morphology. • Lunda Norte provenance Originating from one of Angola’s principal diamond producing regions. COLLECTOR’S INTEREST: Natural pink diamonds already hold exceptional collector interest, but this specimen becomes particularly distinctive through the combination of irregular morphology and uneven colour saturation. The contrast between delicate pink areas and richer raspberry zones creates a much more individual appearance than a uniformly coloured rough crystal. Its completely natural architecture, strong adamantine reflections and Angolan provenance make it particularly appealing to collectors seeking rough Fancy Colour diamonds with genuine visual individuality. LAPIDARY POTENTIAL: Although cutting would technically be possible, it would remove much of the irregular natural morphology and could also eliminate the strongest concentrated pink zones. Its greatest appeal lies in preservation as a complete natural crystal or in bespoke jewellery designed specifically around its original freeform shape. ——————- Shipping and Handling: All orders are shipped by Portuguese National Post and UPS • Dispatch time: within 1 to 3 business days after payment confirmation to Catawiki • Transit time service: between 2 to 5 business days within europe and worldwide, depending on destination national post. • A tracking number is always provided Photography and transparency: All photographs are taken under controlled lighting conditions using a macro lens, carefully selected to present each specimen as accurately as possible. No filters, colour enhancement, or artificial saturation are applied. The lighting setup uses a calibrated 5500K light source, replicating neutral daylight to reveal natural tones, surface features, and internal characteristics. Under warmer or weaker indoor lighting, colours may appear slightly different, which is normal. The purpose of this photographic process is documentation and representation, not visual enhancement. Images are intended to reflect the specimen faithfully as it appears under balanced natural light conditions. Identification and ethics: All specimens offered are natural and described to the best of our knowledge, based on direct sourcing, professional experience, and information provided by trusted suppliers working at the origin. Every effort is made to ensure transparency and accuracy regarding identification, locality, and general characteristics, avoiding misleading statements about treatment, provenance, or nature. Customs and import taxes: Any customs duties, import fees, or local taxes applied by the destination country are entirely the responsibility of the winning bidder. These charges are not included in the auction price or shipping cost and are determined by the buyer’s local authorities. Guarantee and resolution: Customer satisfaction is important. In the unlikely event of an issue such as loss, damage, or discrepancy, please contact us promptly through Catawiki’s messaging system. Each case is handled individually and fairly, with appropriate solutions offered when justified. Appreciation and commitment: We sincerely thank you for your trust. Our work focuses on careful selection, accurate representation, and respectful presentation of mineral specimens with character and interest. Each piece is chosen for its individual qualities rather than speculative or financial considerations. We aim to provide a transparent, reliable, and consistent experience for collectors at all levels. With gratitude, GemPulse Minerals
