Antique Tibetan Himalayan Silver & Wood Footed Tea Bowl – Handmade Description A fine antique Tibetan tea bowl, traditionally handcrafted in the Himalayan region from silver and carved wood. The bowl features a hand-hammered silver interior and rim, combined with a beautifully aged carved wooden body and a raised silver foot with a decorative beaded border. The harmonious combination of silver and wood reflects the traditional craftsmanship of Tibetan artisans. Six punch marks are present on the silver foot (three on each side). Due to age and wear, the marks are now illegible and cannot be attributed to a specific maker or workshop. This handcrafted tea bowl is a fine example of traditional Himalayan craftsmanship and would make an attractive addition to a collection of Tibetan or Asian works of art. The wooden body has a stable age-related crack, as shown in the photographs. Six worn punch marks are present on the silver foot but are no longer legible.
